The purpose of the website is to tell the story of medieval European history using artwork and other visual aids to provide an engaging learning Enviromint. The main focus will be on the role people, politics, war, and religion had on the shaping of the medieval period. The timeframe of this project is 500 CE to 1500 CE, within that thousand-year scope I plan to discuss the impacts of people like Pope Leo the 3rd, political concepts like Feudalism, the Wars like the Crusades, and the institution of religion that was the catholic church. on this site there is also a map that shows the locations people were from, wars were fought, and important events happened; as well as a timeline to help provide a visual representation of the scope of this time period.
